Today I spent a solid two hours resetting everything in the lab. I planted a whole bunch of milkweed seeds, this time with less vermiculite covering the seeds to allow more light to hit them with the help of grow lights (not previously used). I learned this from my internship at Up Yonda Farms; One of the naturalists I work for recommended more light so I'm trying that out as I still only have one sprout. As for the basil, you can see they are almost tree-like! I am meeting with Mr. Bayer from the Dining Hall Friday afternoon to discuss the basils future (I'm hoping for pasta but who knows). Over the next few weeks I am just going to keep an eye on the seeds and continue to grow the basil.
